Grandpa's Birthday and Fireworks!
A couple of weeks ago, on the 4th, was grandpa's 78th birthday! We had a nice, small party at his house with both of his sisters, one of their husbands, and a couple that are his friends. It was nice just to celebrate and have fun! It also gave us a good excuse to eat some really yummy cupcakes... :) The lady that makes these cupcakes has been crowned a three time Food Network Cupcake Wars winner! I can see why, too! They are delicious! (I apologize for the pictures turned sideways... the computer was having a bad day and didn't want to rotate them :( )

Cute Video!
So we thought we'd share this really funny video with you all! James walks around the house singing this song all the time. and he loves the video, too! :)
Local Ice Cream shop/ Update
Hey everybody! So the other day we found this cute little frozen yogurt shop right down from our house! The only thing is that it is right down from our house, and that could be a little dangerous... :)
Also, a quick update- Just last week we moved into a house. Yay! It is perfect for what we need, with four bedrooms and a large school/family room! It is also a lot closer to Jerry's work~ only a fifteen minute drive away! :) Pictures to come later.... after it's all cleaned up and put away! ;)

Swimming Lessons!
With all the water here in Florida, swimming lessons are a must!!! A few weeks ago Laura, Carter, Joseph and James started swimming lessons. On our daily bike ride we passed a yard with a sign for swimming lessons of all ages, so we called!!! It turns out that the instructor is a 29 year veteran paramedic for the Fire Department. He has been teaching lessons for over 20 years and has a real heart to see children learn to swim, or in Laura and Carter's case, improve! James did not take to the lessons real well at first. Mr. Dale, the swim instructor, because of his many rescues, feels it is imperative that a young child know how to swim to the side of a pool incase he/she falls in. Many of his rescues were from young children falling into pools. Some lucky and some not! :(
Here are a few of the photos!

Air Boat Ride
Hi! So a few weeks ago Grandma Butler (Renee's Mom) came down for a week. While she was here we went on an air boat ride! It was lots of fun! They do the rides in a swampy area, so you get to see lots of alligators... :) It is a good way to get an up-close view of those chompers... Sometimes we almost came a little too close for me! Anyways, here are some photos from the trip! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

Oklahoma Tornado Relief!
Hello everybody! Sorry it had been so long since we have posted; life has been quite hectic around the Hallett house the past few months!!! So, over the next couple weeks (prayerfully!) we will try to post almost everyday with random things we have been doing this year until we are caught up. From then on we'll try to keep this up to date.... :)
A couple of weeks ago Zack and Laura had the neat opportunity to go help with the tornado relief near Moore, OK. To help them get there, they went around the neighborhood asking for donations to be able to fly up and help with the clean-up. God blessed amazingly and they raised enough to pay for half of the total cost! They are so grateful they got to help make a difference in people's lives! Here are some pictures from their trip-
The last four pictures are from a neighborhood in Moore, OK that was almost completely flattened. The neighborhood was 15 blocks wide- 33 square miles. Seeing the devastation and hearing people's stories was definitely heart breaking. Please remember to keep everyone in your prayers!
Thank-you so much for bearing with us, and please keep checking back! Have a great weekend!
